Sigma Junior Secondary Track Maths Workbooks
A key feature of our junior secondary ‘Track’ workbooks is the choice of two workbooks for each of Years 9 and 10. This series provides a ‘dual pathway’ to student success at secondary school. The ‘On Track’ workbooks are produced with mid-band students in mind and contain some revision work from the previous year, while ‘Fast Track’ workbooks can be used to fully extend more able students. Both workbooks use New Zealand based problems and feature many photographs which help students relate maths to real world situations they are familiar with.
Sigma NCEA Level 1 Single Standard Workbooks
For Year 11 students, Sigma Publications provides a series of thirteen NCEA Level 1 ‘Single-Standard’ workbooks, where each workbook contains study material for one NCEA Achievement Standard. This set of Level 1 NCEA workbooks give students or teachers the freedom to buy only those workbooks that cover the standards they are studying. Each contains enough material to be used as an in-class teaching resource or can be used as study material before exams. Exercises, problems and even the language used are based on the most up-to-date NCEA maths assessments.
